  • Just got my first NES, serial number N30090326, CPU-11
I assume it's from a sports set since it came with a nes sattelite, four controllers, and superstrike v'ball/nintendo world cup.

  • I have two Nintendo systems right now. One I am selling on Ebay which is the pre-Deluxe Deluxe set the serial number is N250301. My user name on Ebay is the same as this forum mischa316 if you would like to look at the listing. Or you could just put in item #180854828148.
I have an NES that is my personal one that serial number is N20522955.
I found this forum after I found out I had the Deluxe set but without 'Deluxe' on the box. I saw that on Ebay after a buyer messaged me about my system.
I also forgot to say I purchased the Robot NES at a store called Gagetease in Bonita Springs, FL for get this $30.00!! At that time I did not even know it was even more rare then the Deluxe set box!!
    Mischa.
  • I purchased this along with a whole bunch of CIB games about 2-3 months ago and he said he was the first owner.
    Model: NESE-001 (AUS)
S/N: PM320241 (I think, this is the only other number on the bottom of the console)
  • I have several Toaster's but my lowest serial number is N0159429. It has a non textured top and bottom and has NO,1 underneath next to the expansion slot. The motherboard is a NES-CPU-03.
    My Top Loader is NN102232859.
  • Guys, I got one in the 2.8 x 10^6 range and it came with a 1987 action set (gray zapper box). Is this a possibility. I bought it from a reputable seller claiming he was the first owner, but now I am not sure, if it was mixed and matched =( It's not a big deal, and works great, just wanted to see if the system is original to the box.
  • Updated the list in OP. I will work on the database part later
  • In the process of cleaning these 15, so I figured I'd add the info for the list:
N3474754 NES-CPU-07 1987 Smooth Top WA State Service # (No Door Sticker)

    N33811300 NES-CPU-11 1987 Textured Top Revised Stickers-Red 3700 Service # (Grey Door Sticker)
Hoped the 6 mill serial would help since it was textured, but the top is smooth. I don't know if this was factory or not, but the texture is definitely there. Also the 10.4 mill serial has the only board that is out of progression order, so maybe it was swapped by Nintendo or a previous owner. This particular console is rough.
The other odd thing is I got another CPU-08 which was short lived, but this one has a 1987 date and not 1989 like the previous one I have. I will work on getting all the info on my previously posted systems and make a revised list of them all so the data is easier to read off the op list.
  • I have about 26 NES consoles that I can add the serials of, I will add them all tomorrow. Lowest off the top of my head is in the 720,000's. Oh, my first post here, this site seems great!
  • Here's another one: N0367809 from a CIB test market Deluxe Set w/ the matching warranty sheet.
  • Added new consoles. This list is getting organizationally out of control lol. I will work on it over the next few days.
  • My toaster's SN is N0722522 and the board revision is an NES-CPU-04. I'm the second owner and this was part of a Deluxe Set as it also included ROB and the Deluxe Set manual when I got it. I don't know when it was purchased, but judging by the datecodes on the chips, it looks like it was manufactured around late 1986. I've since disabled the lockout chip and I also performed external audio mods for both the PowerPak and Famicom games. Being an early system it also has completely smooth case halves.
My top loader's SN is NN105461126 and I'm the original owner. I believe my parents got it for me on my 7th birthday in August 1996, so this would've been a year after the NES was officially discontinued. The board revision is an NESN-CPU-01 and has been AV modded by me so I don't have to deal with the vertical lines anymore!
  • Got a new NES today for $2, s/n N21746565, CPU-10

  • Belive it or not I purchased number N0000131 off a guy online yesterday. He had good pics and it all looked legit so I could not pass even though money is tight for me right now. I knew it was a once in a lifetime find and no second chances. I can't wait to get it in my hands and I will be posting pics.
  • I just found a deck serial # N0052096 which I took apart and the motherboard is dated 1985 and CPU 1. This would have been one of the test market units sold in New York back in fall of 1985. I have discovered another difference in these early units. On the left side of the loading door frame where the top of the door rest on the upper left edge there is a little round circle with a little round protrusion and I thought I hadn't seen that before and I check a later system and sure enough it is not there. I'm really excited because number N0000131 should arrive within next couple of days.

Im (obvously) not nesmaniac, but N0000131 does exist. If nesmaniac made this video: we have a winner!
Anyway, my NTSC toaster is N13916509. I got an original NES power adapter and an original RF switch with it, along with only one most likely matched to the system controller (i only say this because the plastic discolouration looks similar on the system and the controller).
I got it at anime north, a convention in toronto, and I have no clue as to where it originated. all i know is i paid $50.00 canadian for it, the adapter, and the RF switch.
    All info:
    - Serial Number: N13916509
    - Toaster *Ding!*
    - NTSC
    - Bought in Toronto, Canada. Dunno as to where it was bought originally
    - NES-CPU-07 (not 4 as I originally thought. I just took it apart.)
    - Very light blue screen colour when not reading game (or failing. silly 10NES and my not wanting to mod)
    - Textured top/bottom (though the clip on expansion port cover thingy does not have a texture. is that normal?)
    - Works perfectly, and as far as i can tell is all original
    - Not in perfect shape, but hey, what do you expect?
    - Was extremely dirty on the inside of the case. I cleaned it though, after removing the electronics
    - I removed the bit of plastic from the case covering the expansion port. (i dont really know why i did, though)
    - Was missing two of the outer case screws and a few internal screws when I obtained it. I went inside and replaced four of the screws that hold the sheilding down with screws from a desktop computer so i could put the top on properly, and screw down a few other parts better. Anybody know where to get NES compatible screws?
    - I didnot get the box/manual/warranty card with the system
  • N0408671
I have 2 others, I only mention this one because it is pretty low.
I don't know where this one came from - it is either one I bought on Ebay with a lot of games, or else the one my ex-roommate left behind years ago (LOL).
It plays well but the RF port (coming out of the back) is loose and doesn't work too well unless I prop something under it.
  • Here is my NES, i got it for free from a lady on Craigslist. Original owner was probably from Torrington Connecticut.
  • Suggestion, Why not order the list from lowest to highest of the serial numbers? Lets see who has the oldest and newest of the NES consoles.
  • Awesome guys! Looks like I have a bit of catch up to do I will work on this later this afternoon.
  • I just picked up a NES Deluxe Set with Stack-Up from a consignment store in Phoenix, AZ yesterday. The serial number for it is: N4233274

  • NES 1: N0198705 'smooth' bottom. Obtained from original owner.
NES 2: N24380034 'rough' bottom. Obtained from original owner.

  • Here's another late release smooth console. Got for $4 at a thrift store with a grey zapper and SMB/DH with Nintendo in the center, so it was probably from a early Action set.
    N5146535 NES-CPU-07 1987 Smooth Top 2602 Service # (No Door Sticker)
